Family History Heart Disease Imaging Order Review
A family history of premature heart disease is a recognized cardiovascular risk factor. Our $40 virtual provider review assesses whether cardiovascular imaging — such as CAC scoring or CCTA — may be medically appropriate based on your family history and individual risk profile.

Chest pain or cardiac symptoms require emergency evaluation. Call 911 or go to the ER for chest pain, shortness of breath, arm pain, or other urgent cardiac symptoms. This service is for non-emergency preventive cardiovascular imaging consultation only.

Cardiovascular Imaging Available for Review
Coronary Artery Calcium (CAC) Score
Non-contrast CT measuring calcified plaque burden. Generally considered for intermediate-risk patients (10-year ASCVD risk 7.5–20%). Most appropriate for patients where CAC result would change management.
Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA)
Contrast-enhanced CT imaging of coronary arteries — detects both calcified and non-calcified plaque. Requires eGFR review and heart rate preparation. More detailed than CAC but higher radiation and contrast risk.
AAA Ultrasound Screening
Abdominal aortic aneurysm screening — primarily for men 65–75 with smoking history. Family history of AAA may expand eligibility. Non-contrast, no radiation.
Preventive Heart Scan Hub
